It’s fantastic then that – in partnership with the South Copeland Disability Group – MNC were afforded a grant to fund a new bus. At the time of writing this, the bus is under construction and the routes we plan to take are still being finalised, but it’s sure to make a big impact when it’s finished! In an interview with the North West Evening Mail, Sue commented that the project will allow MNC to “transport local residents to and from events, community groups and access to our MNC Community Food Shop”. A reliable source of transport is certain to make a positive difference for residents in and around Millom, so MNC extends our thanks to both the National Lottery Fund for financing the project, and Mellors, the company constructing our new bus.
